One major theme is that marriage is important to individuals and society. in the novel it talks about all different types of marriages and how everyone wants to get married.
Another theme uses the title itself. "Pride and Prejudice" because they both stand in the way of relationships. Pride narrows the vision of a person. Prejudice also blinds you and it leads you to false perception about others.
Mood: The mood of the novel is very formal and realistic to the time period it is set in. One thing that was nice as well is even though is about love and marriage, it is not only romantic and emotional, but pretty realistic.
