Seeking Mentor

I've been seeking a mentor for my master piece and I have got two now. One mentor is Doan Winkle who is the assistant professor of Entrepreneurship at Illinois State university. We have not yet talked on the phone, but we have a time and date for that. My other mentor is Rich the owner of 3.0. Hopefully this is the right step in getting some experience in the field of work I want to enter in.

Righetti 3.0 trial sales

The day that Rich and I had the talk about me doing sales for him he gave me a little trial. It was a few days before the big 3rd round CIF basketball game. Righetti played Compton at home. So we decided to make some warrior shirts for the game. It was my job to take orders and sell them at school. Within 2 days I sold a total of 27 shirts. This was pretty good considering the time I had to sell. We sold them for $10 each which was pretty cheap, but we did this in order to sell them just so the kids could match and have some school spirit. Selling them at $10 each the profit was probably about $5 per shirt. After these sells I was officially on as the sales representative.

Masterpiece #1 A New Idea

So I have always known my masterpiece was going to be related to business some way I just didn't know which direction to take it. However it has recently come to me. I am going to be the sales representative for the clothing company 3.0 the above average life. 3.0 clothing is all about living your life to the fullest, and living It above the average. The creator of 3.0 is a good friend of mine Rich Easton, he was a Righetti graduate himself. So he has given me the opportunity to sell as much as I can, and get the clothing line blossoming. Here marks where the start of my 3.0 above average journey starts.

Lit Analysis

1) My book is about one of the best golfer ever Tiger Woods. The book is wrote by tigers swing coach Hank Haney. Tiger asked Hank to coach him after he stopped working with is old Coach. Before Tiger reached out to Hank he tried doing everything himself, but this was not working and it was clearly showing in his scores. When Hank started working with Tiger he was a little anxious on what to do because if he made Tiger worse he would be known as the coach who ruined Tiger. They worked together for 6 years and in these years Tiger became very successful. Hank always emphasized the big miss, and they would do everything to avoid it.Tigers big miss was a hook to the left so they would adjust his swing to make sure he would not miss left.  After working with each other however they decided to go their separate ways, but are still on good terms today.

2) I think Hank decided to write this book to just show the world what Tiger Woods was really like. He talks alot about how Tiger was a perfectionist his day consist of 12 hours of golf a day from 6 AM to 6 PM. The real thing Hank points out however is that tiger was mentally a freak. No one ever would know what was going on in his head, and this what hank believed made him so successful.

3)

Tale of Two cities

I could not get the video to load so i will try again later and if it still is not working I will collaborate with one of my fellow classmates.

Great Expectations

we have only had the book a couple days and I don't quite know what to think of it yet. I got to the part were he meets the convict in the marsh, and then stopped reading. I like to stop reading when it seems that its going to get good so I am interested to keep reading at another time. If i stop reading at a boring point it leaves a bad impression in my head and i start to dread reading it, and it becomes more of a hassle then something im excited to do.
